Pupils’ Classroom Behavior and Academic Performance

Pupils behavior in the classroom today takes various forms of depending on social and cultural context. This study focused pupils perception behavior: Physical Aggression, Verbal Expression, Non-Verbal Communication, Disrespecting Teacher, Peer Pressure, academic performance for second quarter, relationship between School Year 2022-2023. was conducted among one-hundred-fifty (150) Grade V schools under South 1 District, Division Gingoog City. used an adapted questionnaire from Lampasaran (2018). The researcher utilized descriptive–correlational research. Statistical analysis like mean, standard deviation, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient were employed to analyze gathered data.The results revealed that overall sometimes level. Non-verbal communication rated highest. Majority at a fairly satisfactory has significant impact except physical aggression. Academic level which means should improve their better recommends school, teachers, parents may help each other improving positive performance.
